Alphonso Blues

Its been 13 years since I have been in Bombay for the Hapus season. Perhaps for a Bambaiya one of the acute bouts of home-sickness occurs around April-May, when he is unable to taste his favorite fruit, thanks to the machiavellian attitude of the US department of Agriculture, which in its infinite wisdom has decided to ban Indian Mangoes from entering the US of A. So this May, I have decided to make the trip to Montreal or Toronto, since the powers to be in the North are more sensible and allow the import of Indian mangoes. Any help from Desis up in Canada, with tips for the best shops to visit to buy the King of Mangoes will be appreciated.
